CIRCUS DE BEBE.

Thanks to our many wonderful friends and family, G and I experienced the BEST baby shower EVER. It was amazing. The hostesses - Stacey, Amber, Mel, Alli and Grandma Julie - did an amazing job organizing all of the games/food/drinks/decor to make one chic baby shower for us to invite our closest friends to. Complete with a circus theme, we played a celebrity baby name game, drink from straws that had circus quotes attached, ate animal crackers, cracker jacks, opened gifts and enjoyed the best company. Baby K is already spoiled and we love all of our new things and can't wait to share them with Baby K once he/she gets here! Here are a few pictures from last night - more to come!

one, country couple's shower.

one of my very good friends, amber seglem, is getting married! it's right around the corner, and to celebrate we threw her and her fiance, pat, a couple's shower.

the shower was complete, with a country chic theme, hot dog bar, beer, gift opening and the best game of them all - the coconut game. if you've seen 'just go with it' you'll get the idea. it was definitely the highlight of the night. here's a few pictures from the night's activities.

congrats to the both of you - we can't wait to celebrate the BIG day!!

First comes marriage....

One of my great friends, Miss Alli Klein, got engaged this weekend. For one this is blog-worthy, because Alli always talked about how she would never get married, and then it became the story of well, if I get married I'll be the last one to get married and it'll be at an old, old age. I'm happy to say that Alli's stories were all lies :) This may be the best proposal yet, so I wanted to share it with everyone else, that is, if you didn't see it on the 6 o'clock or 10 o'clock news last night! Congratulations Alli! I'm so happy for you! And, nice work Bret!
